Corporate Citizenship

DATAMATX believes in being a strong corporate citizen.  Our goal is to have the highest standards ethically, legally and economically to positively affect our community. We encourage our team members to volunteer for community service aside from any corporate sponsorship.

DATAMATX  sponsors, donates, and/or volunteers at the following:

Since 1988, we’ve collected coats of all sizes each November for our Coats For Kids campaign.

This November, while we need all warm coats – we especially need kid’s coats. Our team at Puritan Cleaners will clean and repair each donated coat before delivering them to the Salvation Army to be distributed to local families in need.

With over 400,000 coats collected over the years, we couldn’t be more proud of our generous customers and our outstanding staff. Thanks to you, Central Virginia is a warmer place to live.

(formerly My Brother’s Keepers Reaching Out, Inc) is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization devoted to stabilizing lives and preventing homelessness by feeding the food insecure through the provision of groceries, cooked foods and linking clients to resources and emergency assistance. ICA provides these services through our mobile pantry services, direct services (in-house distribution) and emergency/crisis prevention services. We focus on providing services that lead to self-sufficiency.

Mission: I Care Atlanta Inc. (ICA) helps stabilize lives and prevents homelessness by feeding the food insecure in Metro Atlanta through the distribution of groceries, cooked foods, and links to resources that will result in self-sufficiency.

Vision: I Care Atlanta envisions a community where individuals can live their dreams and not their hunger.

Values: Our goal of preventing hunger and stabilizing lives can only be achieved through the commitment and dedication of our staff, the support of our community partners, the giving and support of our donors, and our commitment to being good stewards.

ICA’s goal is to serve the homeless, as well as low-income families by providing resources and assistance necessary for future sustainability. Job placement and training programs, such as GED training, basic adult education courses, and English as a second language are just a few of the services offered. Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions.

Founded in 1975, Shepherd Center is ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the nation.

In its more than four decades, Shepherd Center has grown from a six-bed rehabilitation unit to a world-renowned, 152-bed hospital that treats more than 900 inpatients, 575 day program patients and more than 7,100 outpatients each year. Patients travel from across the nation – and even the globe – to Shepherd Center for its innovative brand of neurorehabilitation.

Patients at Shepherd Center get more than just medical care:  They get an experience that brings healing and hope. Shepherd’s team of highly specialized, experienced clinicians are dedicated to helping their patients rebuild their lives with hope, independence and dignity, advocating for their full inclusion in all aspects of community life while promoting safety and injury prevention.

Clinicians work with each person to create a blueprint for rehabilitation, tapping into state-of-the-art medical care, therapeutic equipment and comprehensive educational services. Staff members also serve as ambassadors to help patients navigate their journey over a lifetime. At Shepherd Center, we are a family, working together to help patients and their families obtain the care they need plus so much more.

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

Since 1890, The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command has had long-term experience in understanding the barriers that prevent economically-disadvantaged populations from meeting their basic needs.

Many of the people we serve are on fixed incomes, earning minimum wage, supporting multiple family members on a single wage or simply not working at all. In particular, our nine Financial Emergency Service Centers, Red Shield Services and Transitional Housing Shelter, Residential Camping program, and three Boys and Girls Clubs serve people primarily living in poverty.

The Salvation Army continues to Do the Most Good throughout Atlanta through our comprehensive and effective assistance programs

Each year, through the generous support of corporate partners, the National MS Society is able to fund critical research and programs and services that truly make a difference in the lives of people affected by MS.

By joining the movement toward a world free of MS, companies engaged with the Society are able to reach potential consumers in a deep and meaningful way, as well as demonstrate their commitment to corporate philanthropy among customers, employees and key company stakeholders.

Corporate partners give to the Society in a number of ways including corporate fundraising teams, event sponsorship, grants for programs and services, in-kind product donations, cause campaigns, volunteer engagement and workplace giving.
