DATAMATX Enhances Billing and Online Services to Support Cobb Water System's Adoption of Indus BannerAdvantage CIS.
______________________________
Atlanta, Georgia - March 1, 2004 - DATAMATX, one of the nation?s largest, private, full-service providers of document printing, mailing and distribution outsourcing services proudly announces the partnership with the Cobb County Water System in providing an e-statement viewing and payment solution that serves both their customer service staff and over 160,000 customers.
Cobb Water System upgraded from its legacy software system to the Indus BannerAdvantage CIS in February 2004. As part of the project, Cobb Water System adopted DATAMATX's eTRAX billing management web portal. Using this proprietary e-suite of services, Cobb Water?s customer service representatives are now able to retrieve bills and statements to view, fax or email as well as process electronic payment transactions.
According to Herb Richardson, Cobb Water System's Business Manager, "We recently implemented the Banner Customer Information System, which required converting 160,000 accounts from our legacy system. During this major project, we relied on DATAMATX for their creative and proactive solutions as their staff worked with us to re-engineer our invoicing processes to match the Banner-provided billing data. This three-way project partnership between Cobb Water, Indus, and DATAMATX resulted in a successful migration with absolutely no interruptions or errors in our customer billings and subsequent cash flow. The efforts DATAMATX put into the project surpassed just the invoicing aspect. We took this opportunity to implement eTRAX, DATAMATX?s online portal, to process electronic payments and email, fax, and mail statement copies and letters. Our customers and staff are ecstatic with the results these improvements have provided."
Scott Stephens, COO of DATAMATX added, "This win is significant to DATAMATX as a result of the opportunity to further integrate our solution set with the INDUS software package providing Cobb Water a fully comprehensive solution. DATAMATX prides itself on our ability to seamlessly integrate Data from a variety of CIS partners into our standard processes, both paper and electronic. The success of this implementation demonstrates our commitment to providing total output solutions for our clients. Cobb Water has been a true partner of DATAMATX for several years and we appreciate the opportunity to assist them in developing a leading edge Customer Service Solution for their customers."
